Wishing you all a very blessed Easter from my family to yours! ๐
Here’s something that’s Easter Egg related, sort of ๐
Here’s a simple step by step diagram on how to crochet a sunny side up! ๐
Happy Easter, my friends!!! ๐
Lately, I’ve been crocheting smaller dolls.ย I realized they’re much simpler to make than my big dolls.ย I call them my amiguru-minis ๐ย I used almost the same pattern for the superheroes and just made everything smaller ๐
They look like chubby baby superheroes ๐
Mini shield for Captain America ๐
Here’s a yuppie zombie I made based on the pattern of Christen Haden’s book called Creepy Cute Crochet ๐ย I just added arms and legs.
And since I’m such a fan of Game of Thrones, I crocheted my favorite character, Jon Snow.
“You know nothing, Jon Snow.”
Can’t wait for the fifth season ๐
And finally, I was able to crochet Elsa, a character the litte girls love.ย I haven’t even seen the movie! Haha!
Just to give you an idea how small these doll are… Here is cute little Erin holding Elsa ๐
I’ll be making more of these amiguru-minis ๐ย Stay tuned ๐
I really want to do more characters from Game of Thrones but their costumes are so detailed.ย Oh let’s see what I can come up with ๐
Hope you all had a restful weekend ๐
Here’s a short post to brighten up this gloomy Monday ๐
I just wanted to share with you all my latest handmade creation, her name is Chinkee.ย I wanted her outfit to be a simple black dress so she will always be in style, ready for her meetings ๐
I also made her two necklaces.ย One is a key and the other is a keyhole heart that says, “made with love”.
Chinkee is probably the happiest doll I’ve made so far.ย Hihi… ๐ย She’s one of the few who has a smile on her face.
Have a great week ahead, my friends, from me and Chinkee! ๐
My latest project was a set of twelve toys.
They were inspired by one of my favorite arts and crafts item… Those googly eyes ๐
These two gentlemen are my son’s favorites.ย They were inspired by the band called, “The Lumineers”.
I am so into stripes right now.ย Turned these dolls into DJ’s in stripes ๐
More striped googlees ๐
My personal favorite….ย Two cats and a bear in hats and scarves ๐
My son loves them all ๐
This was one was inspired by my handsome husband.ย Hahaha! ๐ย This is his usual get-up when he goes on his Sunday bike rides.
And this is Snow.ย We both love big glasses and bags.ย Can’t have enough of those ๐
Watch out for my next set of twelve ๐
Have a great week ahead, my friends! ๐
My latest handmade project was a hat for an 11-month old baby ๐ย I asked my 5-year old, Crow, to try out the hat. Hehe ๐ย It still sort of fits.
The hat is based on the book, “The Hungry Little Caterpillar”.ย Also one of my son’s favorite books when he was a baby ๐
I had a lot of fun making this hat.ย Basic shapes and basic colors.
I love braids ๐
It was a beautiful and sunny day to photograph this caterpillar…
And my handsome son ๐
Hope you all are having a wonderful time with your families during this Holy Week ๐
Check out my latest collection of handmade toys custom made for Omar ๐
He sent me these designs beforehand and I executed them following his patterns ๐
Can you guess who these guys are? ๐
Have a great Friday, everyone! ๐
PROJECT: COUNTING SHEEP. ย A project I made especially for a friend’s baby ๐
Perfect material to hang the sheep on the wooden ring. Found this twine in the Wrap Shop in Rockwell. Thanks, Dants, for helping me find this one! It’s perfect.
I was supposed to put a black sheep in the mix. There’s always a black sheep in the family. Haha! But my friend requested for a blue sheep instead ๐ Hi Blue!
Finally, after weeks of crocheting and assembling, they’re finally ready to meet their new owner! ๐
I was so bothered by what Dante said regarding the “X” eyes of the sheep. That in cartoons, it means they’re dead. ย LOL. Bought some wooden buttons for the eyes right away! I don’t want to give dead sheep!
To Margaux, my friend, I hope your son enjoys the company of my little fluffy buddies and will help him sleep more soundly at night ๐
Sweet dreams ๐
This is my latest amigurumi creation… The Dark Knight! ๐ ย And I think he is my secret favorite. ย Hehe…
First of all, his basic color scheme are my two favorite colors. ย Black and grey.
It was also my first time to use suede cloth as a cape ๐
I used to crochet the capes as well but I like the way the suede cloth flows.
I’m very happy with how Batman turned out ๐
So who will win in this battle?!
Happy Saturday, everyone! ๐ ย Please visit and “like” my Facebook page, if you have one, for more updates on my current handmade projects! ๐
