Claudette

Another wonderful highlight for 2020 is the wedding of one of my bestfriends, Claudette. Clauds and Peter got married last January 17 and it was one of those days that I did not want to end. I got to spend the entire day with my high school barkada, got to celebrate and witness the beginning of Clauds’ and Peter’s new life together as husband and wife, AND we got to wear sneakers all day! Thank you, Clauds, for those shoes that are now one of my faves to wear! Haha!

And here are some snapshots I took right after we did Clauds’ hair and makeup. Clauds’ hair was styled by one of my faves, George Aliben. Thanks so much, George, for the vavavoom hair!!! I also chose to use my Huda Beauty Nude Eyeshadow Palette on Clauds’ eyes plus lashes from Bohktoh to bring out her beautiful eyes even more.

Clauds has flawless skin so I just added bronze highlighters on her cheeks. I love Laura Mercier’s Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder. What I used on Clauds was No. 5,
Medium to Deep.

This photo pretty much sums up the entire day. I love this photo of Clauds so much. I don’t remember what we were laughing about exactly but I felt so much love and joy all around! Wish we could go back to this day and just celebrate Clauds’ and Peter’s wedding all over again. That was a wonderful day indeed.

Also special thanks to our dear friend, the super talented, Maureen Disini, for designing all our gorgeous gowns. These are my beautiful high school besties: (starting from the left) Dom, Angela, Clauds and Isabel. We are missing our other bestie, Emma, who celebrated with us through FaceTime in Sydney. Hahaha!

Alexa

     

One of the highlights and best moments of my 2020 so far.  Last January 3, 2020, two of my “kids” from our Church Choir got married.  I still couldn’t believe how much they’ve grown.  I met Alexa and Javier when they were about Damien’s age, around 11-12 years old.  They have always remained to be such responsible, wonderful and talented human beings with the kindest of hearts. I would see them every Saturday for our 6pm Masses and it’s really something I look forward to.  Something I miss so much during this lockdown.

     Every time I am given the chance to be a part of someone’s big day, I get way too excited. But even more when the couple are my friends from way back. So when Alexa and Javier messaged me to do Alexa’s hair and makeup for their wedding, I blocked the date right away.  Of course, even if I wasn’t the makeup artist, I would still block the date. HAHAHAHA!!! Coz I wouldn’t miss this day.

It’s veil time. Always one of my favorite moments during wedding preps. It’s the moment when brides realize “This is it!!! There’s no turning back!” Hahaha! Just kidding.

       Today I’m thankful for the pleasure of doing my friend’s family’s makeup for their dear brother’s wedding 😀 To Tita Nena, Tita Carrie, Lala and Vic, thank you from the bottom of my smokey heart! CPR

It was a beautiful Saturday morning in Angelfields, Tagaytay.  This was the morning of the 11th of October 2014.  Angelfields truly is a beautiful venue for garden weddings 🙂

It was Cathy and Brian’s big day! 🙂  We arrived in Angelfields and we could already feel everyone’s excitement.  Good vibes indeed 🙂

Ali

Last October 23, 2014 was another pretty client’s wedding.  Her name is Ali 🙂

It was a beautiful morning and our wedding preps were in Richmonde Hotel, Eastwood 🙂  Here are some of the wonderful details of her wedding…

Teacher Kit

View from the hotel room 🙂 Wonderful morning indeed!

It was an early start for hair and makeup last September 6, 2014 🙂  I really don’t mind waking up in the wee hours of the morning.  It’s so peaceful knowing almost everyone is still asleep 🙂

Our wedding preps were in Manila Hotel, one of my favorite hotels, and the bride was one of my favorite preschool teachers at my son’s previous school, Teacher Kit 🙂

Teacher Kit was my son’s very first teacher.  Damien Crow was about two years old and he couldn’t speak yet.  So there was a time when he would bite his other classmates when he would get frustrated.  This was our biggest issue at that time.  Haha!  Thank you for your patience, Teacher Kit! 🙂

My portable studio already set-up.  Thank you so much for assisting me that day, Ham 🙂 I think that’s your hand seen in the mirror.  Haha!  My NTL airbrush machine is ready as well as my favorite palettes and loose powders from Shu Uemura.

Here is the bride, Ria 🙂  Such an elegant beauty.  Makeup is done.  Ria just wanted something very fresh and natural for her wedding 🙂  I used neutral colors on the eyes with a thin liner on the top lids.  I also chose a light shade of pink for her lips

My Yogi Bride: Isabel

It was a beautiful Saturday morning at the Manila Peninsula Hotel last February 15, 2014 🙂

Gorgeous and flawless yoga teacher, Isabel, was getting married that day! 🙂  I first met Isabel during a photo shoot for Metro Weddings Magazine.  She was one of the brides that were featured and we clicked instantly.  Thankful for that day we met! 🙂
