For the longest time, every New Year’s Eve we would have dinner at our Uncle’s place to celebrate with the rest of the clan. But this year, each family had a plan of their own. So we decided to make our own plans as well 🙂 We decided to have dinner in Greenbelt with another restaurant in mind. Not surprised, we were turned down because it was already full. So we walked around and found this new place called Ma Maison in Greenbelt 2. They serve Japanese Western food. Interesting 🙂
Whenever I eat with my family, my mother always wants us to eat “family-style”, meaning all the food in the center for everyone to try 🙂 The great thing about this is that you get to try all the food that was ordered. The not so great part is, if you like a particular dish more than the rest, you will only have a taste of it. The trick here is… eat fast, eat very fast.

Wasabi Pannacotta with Fruit Tempura and Chocolate Sauce (Again, servings are too tiny for me. haha!)
Overall, it was a good dinner. To be honest, I was still a bit hungry. LOL! I guess I got used to pigging out the whole holiday season and my stomach must have stretched so much! 🙂 But I enjoyed that evening very much with my wonderful family. Also later that evening, we were going to pick up my sister from the airport. She was arriving from Vancouver. No better way to spend the last night of 2011 🙂
